I Only Read Murder - Book Review

I Only Read Murder

It's a fun summer read. Be entertained!

Delightful, easy read by Canadian (brothers), Ian and Will Ferguson.

Set in a town called Happy Rock, centers on an amateur theatre group, a bookstore, and an on-stage murder, how could this not be fun?

Happy Rock hadn't been built;

it had been crocheted into existance.

Miranda (a TV sleuth with fading fame) is surrounded by the quirkiest of characters, red herrings abound, and love her or dislike her, she gets things moving. Throw in an old romance and the town is primed for this murder. Oh, and by the way, Miranda is a red-head in my mind!

You’ll enjoy the quick pace from this Canadian writing duo (brothers who live in different cities, one being my hometown) and there was lots to laugh out loud about.

It is just what this reader needed as a summer read. Also, the writers intimated that this is only the first murder set in Happy Rock. So we can look forward to more comedic murder solving in this crocheted town!

Thank you to #NetGalley and #HarperCollinsCanada who provided me with this ARC in exchange for my opinion.

Are you reading something light or are you tackling something you've been waiting to get to these days?

Tell me!
